Stockholm Arbitration Scholarships for Chinese Students in Sweden, 2013


Three law firms: Gernandt and Danielsson, Mannheimer Swartling and Vinge are offering Stockholm Arbitration Scholarships for law school graduates. These scholarships are awarded to Chinese students for pursuing Master’s degree in International Commercial Arbitration Law at Stockholm University in Sweden. Applicants must be proficient in English and must hold a university diploma in laws or an equivalent law degree of at least 120 (180 ECTS) credit points. The scholarship covers the tuition fee. The application for scholarship can be made by January 15, 2013.

Eligibility:
  • Chinese citizens with a Bachelor of Laws degree from a university in China.
  • To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must hold a university diploma in laws or an equivalent law degree of at least 120 (180 ECTS) credit points (a three and year degree) at the time of application.
  • Applicants must also meet the English language requirements for admission to the programme.

Scholarship Description: The scholarship is valid throughout the entire one year study period for the 2013/2014 academic year and covers the tuition fee for this period. Scholarships are only valid for the 2013/2014 academic year and cannot be deferred. Applicants that wish to delay their studies must reapply for the scholarship. The university aims to make the process of applying for a scholarship as simple as possible. When applying for a scholarship, it is important to remember that scholarships are awarded to the most exceptional applicants based on merits.

Number of awards offered: There are three full-tuition scholarships.

Duration of award(s): The scholarship is valid for the entire one year study period.
